Prince Monyayi

Prince Monyayi was appointed to SAMBT in 2024 to assume Monitoring and Evaluation responsibilities. A qualified Occupational Therapist (OT), Prince brings a disciplined approach and deep understanding of patient and client independence to his new role.

Prince began his career as OT in government hospitals in Mpumalanga, working with patients of all ages. Throughout his hospital career, referring patients with visual impairments to Orientation & Mobility Practitioners sparked his curiosity about independence for people who are blind. This passion, combined with his studies at Monash University, led him to SAMBT.

Prince is currently in training at the College of Orientation and Mobility at SA Guide Dogs.

His Christian faith is central to his life, and he enjoys reading and staying active through calisthenics and rope skipping.
